Acute Muscle Strain Symptoms

The pain is typically isolated to the low back and without any radiation to the legs.  Most people report stiffness in the low back muscles, worse with bending forward, side to side bending or leaning back. Minor trauma, heavy lifting, or a near fall usually precedes an episode of acute muscle strain.
